i have trouble with ONLY suspension upgrades and evrything else is stock and running in the 9's.

sorry dont want to cause a s... storm but that is hard to believe

Traction is the most important factor. 9s is admittedly tough to believe but if the weak link was only traction, it's very possible.



I didn't think I'd be buying a car for many years, especially the over-produced Mustang, but this just crept into my list of considerations for my next vehicle.

Hugh, That is true. I have had freinds in the past, build up a drag car. They didnt think about the traction, or do enough. One freind choped 1.92 seconds off an OLds 442. After he got an expert to help him with the traction issue. The tires were not enough.

i am not going to say it is impossible but that is a huge diff between stock / mod times. 11.6 to the 9's.

wow if the 9's are possible with just suspension mods that is even better on this top notch perf vehicle.

i agree with hugh, to many mustangs, but this one, the boss, bullit and few others are awesome. :supercool:

I hope steeda isnt lying in the article. My bet is the driver was one of their best launch experts. Also I bet they did alot of runs until they got it tweaked just right. The they reported it.
