I just looked at the Toyota Tacoma TRD and was quite impressed except for the $46k price. The lease was decent though. I just cannot get rid of my 2008 Sport Trac Adrenalin with barely 90,000 miles. Still looks gorgeous and sits in my garage mostly. I can't justify a car payment just to get a new vehicle when I have a great truck in the Adrenalin and my 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium only has 27,000 miles on it and looks brand new. I own both outright. If I drive a 1000 miles a year, I'm lucky. Why go into debt when my vehicles are still gorgeous and look brand new and I barely drive (work at home office and will retire this year anyway). I used to be a new car guy every 3-4 years but my vehicles are perfectly fine and having no debt is a nice feeling after so many years of having tons of debt.
I agree with every comment here. I looked at the Ranger and was greatly disappointed.
