Spring is coming !!! I want to change out my stock 18's for a more aggressive stance and better look. I wanted to see if anyone could post some pics of there ST's with 20 or 22 inch rims so I can get a better idea on what I want to get.

Let me know if your thinking of selling the OEM rims...

I had 22's. They filled out the wheel well pretty good. But they were heavy. Very heavy. Eventually went back to 20's, and the difference in the suspension is unbelievable. I know they weight difference is only 25 lbs or so, but that must be the tipping point for the factory wheels. If someone made a lightweight 22" that I liked, I would condsider going back. But for now, the 20's will do!

My sujestion is to go with light weight in 20 or 22. Usualy a 2 peice wheel will be lighter(Lighter alloys) than a 1 piece cast. .

Not only is the heavier rotating mass harder on brakes. Harder on supension and steering components.

When I upsized my performance cars wheels. I always went with 2 peice light weight wheels. Heavy 1 peice cast wheels cause alot of handling and cornering performance.

The 2 peice 17 x 9 1/2 on my stang wer so light. Without a tire, I could pick them up with one finger.

20" x 8.5" here, with 275/45-20 Toyo's. Would love to do 22" x 9.0" wheels and 285/35-22 tires, but I'm still working on getting lowering springs. Bob
