Just ordered the Michelin Cross Terrain SUV 265 70-R16s from Sam's Club. They were almost $200 cheaper than Sears for the whole package. I hope I made a good choice with the 265's rather than the stock 255s. I'll let you know what the verdict is when I get them on.

Hi Adam i bought those almost a year ago, they are great, there is a little bit of a rub on tight turns but they are nice and smooth with good traction.

Oh yeah i bought them at Sam's also, i had to sign off that I am taking responsibility for putting oversized tires on my trac, but i knew that they would fit from all the postings on here.

Thanks Don, I was worried, but I couldn't bear spending that much $$ on tires and not getting something that will fill the fender wells better than the RT/S. I think I'll be pleased with the Michelins. Thanks again

You should be fine on the rubbing issue. I have the Revos in that size, and only had minor rubbing on the right front anti-sway bar on left turns before getting new shocks and a proper alignment. After the adjustments, the rubbing went away. :D

I put the Cross Terrains on wife's Liberty. They have ~ 4k miles on them and are still smooth and quiet! Haven't had enough snow yet to try them out, but I see they are M+S rated.

my 02 2wd trac had cross terrains on them from the factory, they are excellent tires. the tread was good for two winters worth of good traction, the third winter you could tell that the tread was getting used up. excellent in rain and low noise...
