I just went over 30,000 miles on my '10 ST since purchased Feb 2nd. I'll be out of warranty in 1 year of ownership. Hopefully she'll keep going strong, at least until it's paid for. It gets frequent Mobile 1 oil changes with Motorcraft filters and tire rotations.. Looks like front brakes soon and new tires this winter. :(

I love my pay but not my commute.

How could you need brakes after 30,000. Especially if they are highway miles. I changed the brakes after 55,000 and that was mixed use driving. I would check thoses lineings closely.

07...LOL

I can almost bet I will need brakes at around 12-15K.......

My 03 needed them at 8K miles.... LOL

Driving habbits..

Todd, your worse than me. I get about 20k. Im using PF pads now. They dust off so much. Probaly will get less.

One thing about performance friction pads though. The hotter they get. The less fade and better braking on stock rotors.

07,

I commute in DC stop & go traffic 96 miles per day.

You know 0 to 60, stop light, 0 to 60, stop sign, 0 to 85, merge 4 lanes to 2. Plus throw in a couple of trips in the mountains of WV. :driving:

My 03 ST has 88K on it now. I took it to my mechanic last week for transmission flush, oil change and break job. He told the pads were still good and to have them checked again at my next 3k mile oil change.

It is very hilly where I live. I'm lucky to get 30k out of the front brakes on everything we own and I always downshift descending hills. My Trac is an '08 and was inspected in August with 40k on it (this includes two trips from Pittsburgh to Florida) and needed new front brakes and rotors.
