Thanks for the nice words. No secret, just replaced all broken parts, kept clean and fluids changed on time (fully synthetic oil after 100,000 miles every 7,000 miles). And yes, original engine and transmission.

And I thought I was cool with 331,000 miles on my 2003! I just got a new job that's only 11 miles away, so now i'll probably never catch up! I did take a short day trip to Galveston this weekend, though, so maybe there is still hope!

amazing what sort of driving do you have? highway? longer trips like me where the nearest town is 50 miles? What I mean is I pull out of the driveway and the auto doorlocks don't activate until I tap my brakes about 30 miles later.
