Root canals are not as bad as everybody says they are. In fact, you really shouldn't feel any pain if the dentists is doing a proper job. The worst part should be when you see that really long needle on the novicain syringe and then feel it as you get the shot. After that, you shouldn't feel any pain. For what little there might be afterward, 800 mg of naprosin will take care of it [4 Aleve tablets].
