does anyone know the spline count on the front pinion of a first gen trac
4.56 gear spline count

I dont think it mattered, are you insttalling a limited slip in the front or a spool?.... thats not recomended for on road use at all !!!
I beleive Not 100% is 27 spline

all im doing is regearing to get some of the lost torque back... its still going to be an open differential but there are 26 and 27 spline sets for the dana 35... i ordered the 27 spline set

The axle spline should not matter on the R&P...... Thats the side gears and stuff that matter with that.....
Just the standard or backward rotation.....ST was standard....
i got 4:56 in my St and love them !!

ok cool cuz i just picked up R&P for the front and rear as well as overhaul kits for just over $400

There are plenty of ST, Explorer and Ranger owners that have 3.73's that upsized thier tire size and need to regear. Your asking price is really good.
