My 4x4 differential has been making a whinning sound for a while. I took it to the shop and the say the teeth are worn out! Probably because of a bad bearing. So they found me a donor out of an 03' with 60,000 miles. Gonna cost $700 for the whole job! I should get her back on Monday.

That sucks. Sorry to hear but glad it isn't going to cost you a life's savings to get it fixed.
