This is one of my Ecoboost customers who was at the track in Bradenton Saturday. He ran a 12.99 and a 12.94 that day and his best is 12.90. This video was his 13.00 against a 2012 Gran Sport Corvette.

check out the vette off the line. a better driver would have beat the flex.



that said, that flex is freakin' fast. what type of work was done?

Ah yes...I hark back to the 1960's when straight line acceleration was the only mark of performance. Now we equip our performance vehicles with superior brakes, outstanding handling, quiet comfortable interiors and all the high tech gadgets. Some of the new stereo systems have more power than many enignes did back in the 1960's :grin:



Never the less, I would still prefer to have the stock Corvette over the souped up Flex, since I am 65 and not overly impressed by stoplight to stoplight acceleration. :grin:
