The simple fact that it has yet to show signs of mold is down right scary....

I eat fast food MAYBE 5 times a year... Thank God !!!!

Its not so amazing that your digestive system gets that stuff out so fast. It doesn't break down very well I guess. I wonder if you put it in thew microwave for a few, if its still edible? I'll stick with my grilled chicken salads for now. Bob

Maybe we need to have a Happy Meal web cam, just think of the advertising you could generate from this website? Maybe MythBusters could sponsor it?

McDonalds is my least favortie fast food place...

Burger King, Wendys, Zaxbys then Chic Fila.....

Bud,

Good list, but I'd reverse the order then that's my preference. Thinking more about the McDonald's experiment, I really don't see the issue. The question to me isn't why is there no mold, etc, the question is why does bread in my house mold in less than 1 week? I suspect the airtight bread bag makes for a good breeding ground....like a greenhouse.

Food that does not go bad (mold) has a tremendous amount of preservatives in it.

Generally speaking, the more preservatives the worse the food is for you...

Generally speaking, I try not to speak in or take too much stock in generalities.

There are natural preservatives and there are chemical preservatives. The latter are well regulated by the FDA as to their acceptable levels within foods.

I like mold as much as the next guy where appropriate (cheese, especially bleu) but don't want it on my food.

I'm all for organic and whole foods, but a McD's burger (or any burger for that matter) now and then ain't going to kill you, especially not from the preservatives. The fat in the beef and the white flour in the bun will kill more people than the added preservatives.

I always like to think that if I eat enough preservatives, it'll be easier on my mortician when I die. I won't need much embalming, everything will be preserved!:bwahaha::rofl:
