Hello all,

Title says it all.

Little back story,

Back in September my buddy who previously owned this lovely 2002 Sport Trac , moved to Kansas and didn't need the Trac anymore. It wasnt running or didnt start when he had it towed to my garage. He gave it to me. Pretty sweet, i was very excited, as i always like these little trucks.

Go to the link to see the most current pictures i have , as of today. And the outcomes of what i am going to list out that i did to it.

Things I need to do:

I am adding some AT-205 reseal i got from ebay , once i do my next oil change, which will today, tomorrow or the next. Trying to stop a very very slow rear main seal leak.

Thats something i dont want to fix or pay to fix.

Total investment thus far +-$3500, KBB/NADA Value retail +-$6500.

I think thats it.....

If i think of anything else I've done to it, I will make sure to add it in.

Here is a better link, also replaced the brake cruise switch but didn't fix my issue. May need to switch controls out on wheel but probably won't.

Wow AJ, almost like a new truck now.

So just did a oil change today, installed an EZ drain plug, and also decreased rear main area. Added Reseal At-205 today, we will see what happens.

I did a little test with AT-205 reseal. I had a distributor o-ring that had fossilized on a 27 year old cologne 2.9L v-6. No problem easy to replace. The old o-ring broke into a few pieces.

They were hard and brittle.

I took the remnant pieces of that o-ring and put them in a little vial of AT-205 reseal.

I then set the vial near my water heater. It was around 90F.

After a few weeks I opened the vial and pulled out the o-ring pieces.

It was amazing. They had become soft and pliable again.

It was not like putting them in a solvent, They were not swelled up or anything.

They just became like original.

Just a simple experiment - Your mileage may vary.

How many miles on this truck?

I didn't know the first generation holds value so well.

Wonder what my fully loaded 07 with 170k is worth.
