Yesterday we welded a basic 4-bolt flange to the C&L MAF and bolted it into the 04 Adrenalin.

So far so good. We are considering a group buy. Pricing should be around $180 for the non-flanged, and the ones with 1/4" thick flange, unlike the one pictured which only has a 1/16" thick flange will be about $200 shipped.

They will also include the torx bit needed to remove the sensor.

Gary,

We were out celebrating my bday with a nice dinner...... :D

Sal,

Yes, thats the reason for the flange, IT will fit ALL sport tracs.

As far as what it does and tunes,

Depending on the tune you got from the tuner, you may or may not require a new tune...

The only true way would be a dyno run to check a/f or Call the tuner.

BUT I have run the c&L on a stock truck, no tune, and it made a world of difference..

This is a simple mod. The factory MAF housing is only 2.5 inches on the inside. it is larger on the out side, but bottle necks down. Since the ST uses a 3 inch intake tube and TB, you have a restriction in the intake...

Remove the stock MAF housing and install this one removes that restriction and now you have an unrestricted air flow into the engine..

The more air you get in, the more power you make !!!!

Todd, glad to hear you had a nice dinner. Just thought you should post on how it works, so all would get the message that it is a good mod.

Now, tell us why you didn't have a Wi-Fi going while you were out having dinner!:lol:

These MAF's are 73mm and flow an average of 700cfm while the stock MAF is only 63mm and flows 550cfm.

Like Todd said above:
