A/C crapped out today. It was only 96 degrees out there!

Its still working when at an idle and stationary. Hit 10mph and it shuts down. Can still feel little wisps of cool air. Its almost like the 'blend' door is slamming shut(but don't hear it) and not letting any air through, hot or cold. Could be the door accuator(sp)? Have appointment @ 1pm tomorrow. Here we go again, another $1000 repair. Just what I need. Bob

Sorry, you're too late. Traded it in on a new one last Sunday while up in New Hampshire for Laconia Bike Week. Here's a shot of it the day after, up on top of Mount Washington.

Not a "fixed fairing" kind-of guy, but that is one nice looking bike!



Every day, I think about trading my 01 Road King in on a new Street Glide, but then I ride the 01 and all of the trade-in talk goes out the window. After 11 years, I still love it!

Like my '02, it sounds like an airflow issue, check the clutch fan for proper operation.. when really hot and idleing, pop the hood, shut the engine off, and try to turn the fan by hand. the fan itself should not be easy to turn.. I need to install a new clutch on the fan in mine soon...

we had a similar problem with our 09. according to the dealer it needed a recharge. we left the dealer and it was pumping cold air. next morning back to what you are getting. took it back and the could not find a leak but recharged it again. this time they added dye. found a leak in something under the dash. took them 2 days. they completly removed the front seats console and dash. then had to wait on the part to be overnighted. i will see if i can find the work order.

OK, I'm only out $76 for a broken vacuum line to the blend door actuator. Everything works now. Bob :banana:

You really like it huh? Yeah, me too. Had my eye on this model/color since Christmas time. It only took the front brakes(on the black Ultra) going all the way to the handlebar at 80mph on the NY Thruway to make up my mind!
