ok i bought this sun shade

a few sites said it will fit and even amazons said it would fit,when i logged out of amazons site and tried again it said it wont fit.

now that i have it in hand and before i peel the tape off i ask ..will it fit?

the instructions say it should mount on the body but the brake light is in the way,the only other place it looks like it will fit is on the rubber around the window,will the tape hold to that?

Yes. That's where I've had mine mounted for the last six years, and it hasn't budged a bit. Just be sure to clean/prep the mounting surface with alcohol and then use 3M Scotch-Molding Tape. You can get it at any auto parts store.
