Hello:

After my recent install of a Pioneer NAV system, it seems I really need to move the pioneer microphone from my placement under the coin tray to behind the rear-view mirror where the SYNC version is located.

This should be very easy, but any tricks to carefully removing the A-pillar interior trim on the passenger side in a Gen 2 ST? I'm guessing remove the 2 screws from the grap handle and then???

Thanks in advance,

B3

A-Pillar Trim Panel

Removal and Installation

Remove the 2 assist handle bolt covers.

Remove the 2 assist handle bolts.

To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

Remove the assist handle.

Position the door opening weatherstrip aside.

NOTE: The clip on the LH A-pillar trim panel must remain in the sheet metal. The clip comes off the A-pillar trim panel when the panel is removed.

Remove the A-pillar trim panel.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

These are off of my Gen 1 but the same "Jaw" type clips are most likely used on the Gen 2. They pull off but they're really on there tight.
