The book calls for a 902 bulb for the gen 1 trac, high mount stop light. All my local stores only have 904 and up about 5, of the 900series. They are all the same base.

I had a 916 in my stash. So far so good.

Anyone know of a site that will give the the difference in candle power of the 900series. The higher the candle power, the less resistance and shorter life.

Checked sylvania. They dont have the tech sheets.

Thanks

For what it's worth, Osram Sylvania lists 922 as the replacement for the high-mount lamp. I just picked up a pair since the lamp burnt out--for the first time in owning the Trac (not a bad seven years).

Difference is light output and wattage........ they all work.... I stuck 918 in mine, but the OEM melted the sockets..... got a led one now..

I believe Wagner lighting has the info your looking for..
