I got a 2002 trailblazer, I was wondering if the AC can effect engine temp. For example if my system was low on freon would that cause a high head pressure and make my engine run hotter?

Only if it caused the ac clutch to cycle abnormally and the trucks computer does not see it and the cooling fan does not react to it and cool the radiator down from the hot air the evaporator is flowing out..
