I'm sure they're probably as good as any of the other aftermarket "cold air" intakes.

They look nice - do they have an intake tube that fits the Trac?

They are not a true "cold Air" intake for the Trac, the fit in the same as any of the others do.. It probably is a match to any of the others in performance...

I put an AEM cold air intake on my sons Civic SI, it was a true cold air, the air filter was not in the engine compartment. It works great, he loves it. According to the AEM website, the sport trac intake is coming out, in production, or something like that. Should be available soon. I personally am waiting for the AEM, maybe just because of brand loyalty or something like that.

According to the AEM website (www.aempower.com) the price for the sport trac intake is $304.01 (the model # is 21-8109)

I found it on import racer (see link below) for $219. This is about the same price as other places on the web (coximport.com has it for $218.90 and alamomotorsports.com has it for $218.89 - just go to google.com and search for aem 21-8109 - you will get about 60 hits) Apparately it is now available. Last time I chedked it was coming soon.

I really don't remember what I paid for the intake for the SI. I am pretty sure it was around $300.
