Aftermarket Speakers

Quick question regarding removal of side panels on a 2005 ST. Anyone know how to remove these door panels? Do I need a special tool? My buddy gave me some 5 1/4 speakers that I would like to install...will I need an adapterto make these fit the current speaker locations. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

You will need an adaptor plate. I have seen then at crutchfield. The stock size is a 5x7 or a 6x8.
