Air silencer removal on '07 ST

OK, I am wanting to remove the Air Silencer on my '07 Limited V8.

I searched and cannot find any posts on how to correctly do this.



Has anyone done this on an '07 or '08?

Any suggestions or instructions would be appreciated.

Remove the top of the aircleaner...



Remove the 2 10MM bolts that hold on the Coolant bottle, Just lift it out of the way....



Pull out the bottom of the air cleaner, and remove the tube duct....



Put it back to gether...



IT should take you 5-10 min....

Not on the 07 and up... IT lifts right out...



Jimmy, IF you open your air filter and remove the filter, there is a tube on the bottom with duct work going into the grill. That plumbing is the silencer and cold air duct...



Removing that gives the truck a little more air sucking sound under the hood...

Nothing more then that.
