Just throwing this out there to you all. I have an amp I'm going to hook up in my ST. The one I have doesn't have a "Remote" switch to it. (it was out of an old Bazooka tube (works good actually)) I currently have it hooked up to the power wires to my rear window. (this way it turns off with the ST and I also have control to turn it off when the kids are in back (I hit the windows lock to shut it off)). Anyway, I was going to hook the new amp's (an old Kenwood KAC 829 600 Watt) "remote" to this same wire. Of course the other one is getting taken out so don't worry, I'm not running two amps off of it. Anyway, my question is where does everyone else have thier "Remote" wire ran to? I'm just getting ideas in case I decide to run elsewhere. Thanks and I hope my puncuation is ok for everyone here. (sorry, had to do it.);)

is it a stock radio? if so you can run the remote to the fuse block and find a fuse that is on with the car, or if it is aftermarket there should be a remote wire on the headunit

You should use a relay off an ignition switched source that way you can power the amp with its own power wire of the right gauge and make sure it has the correct size fusing.
