Ok, Audio Gurrus.

I want to hook an amp up to my factory pioneer 6 disk oem radio. Can it be done and can you tell me how?

thanks

Yes. Low level line converter, or some amps just support that direct.

A LLC converts the positive and negative into a single RCA style connection, they are sold as a stereo device. So 4 wires turns into 2 RCA connections.

hoaxci5 is right. Some amps will only go with the low level line input. If it give you an option to do a high level input then you can do like i did. I ran a wire from the rear speakers, through the door pillars, and under the door sills to go under the rear seats to the amp. You would/could do the same to hook up the converter.;)

The easier answer is to use the LLC right behind the factory radio splicing into the wiring there. Then run the speaker wire from the amp as a cluster back up to the deck and connect it to the stock wiring. No need to run new wires all over the place then.

2001 cd - single conversion to 6 disc problem.

I added a sub and amp to my 2001 stock sinngle cd - tape player and now I put a 6 disc stock radio in and the bass does not come out , also the dual on - dual off settings from the back seat dont display on the radio. Help? Does anyone have the wire diagram for my 2001 or can any one tell me how to make all this work? Thank you.
