Found out what those loud popping noises were

[Broken External Image]:

The one swaybar endlink sheared off... oh well at least I have replacement ones coming in my superlift

First thing I would check is the endlinks because of their common failure and ease of replacement. Actually, go ahead and spend $14 and change them anyway.

Travis- Your sway bar frame bushings appear to be very dry or due for replacement.

Wouldn't hurt to check your REAR end links and sway bar bushings while you're there.

For me it handles the same imo because I didn't feel a difference while it was broke... and those are on the list of things that need replacing but I may take the swaybar off after the superlift... we'll see how things go

I fully intended to replace my sway bar but a couple days turned into a couple weeks and now a few months...and I don't miss it at all. I still may replace it, though. I'd hate to waste the few dollars I spent on new endlinks and frame bushings.

Wow, I'm humbled. This has been a great month for me. I also got a promotion and a 55% raise yesterday!

I had that same thing happen on a 2000 Ranger that I used to own. It made a big difference though. I could tell something wasn't right with the front end.
