A sad story indeed but the outcome is awesome. I have a special place at the end of my pistol for people who mistreat or don't take care of their pets.

I agree with l1tech,

Anyone who would do that to any animal should be shot.

The only thing is that we don't know how the dog got there. Was he abandonded or did he run away and get lost. That does happen, and some dogs just don't have the sense of smell or ability to find their way back home and for a blind dog, that would probably be impossible.

It's great that someone saw the dog and reported it to the proper people who came to rescue the dog.

Yes, it was a bit of a Tear-Jerker for me. I have two dogs and one just got out of the Vet's Hospital with a bill for over $900. She is about 14-15 years old, and is starting to have some heart and kidney problems, but she is family to me.

Up @ Lake Livingston. My Mom lives in an open private community. One way in one way out.

People are always dumping there dogs and cats. Pisses me off. I wish Icould catch it happening. I cant understand animal dumping. If you cant take care of them or dont want them. Do the right thing. Find them a home or shelter. Some people are just cruel, others are lazy. Some are idiots.

I have rescued several cats. My sister has rescued several dogs. Some we kept, some we found them loving homes.

If you have never resued a cat or dog. The experiance is amazing. They show you soo much love.
