another house question

so our home building process is going well- we will soon be tarring and insulating the foundation walls. What is the best method to apply the tar- small brush/broom, roll it on, etc. I know it will be a messy job, just trying to do it the right and most efficient way. thanks

Spray it on is the easiest. Use a large tip and put it on heavy.

You say "tarring", heavy knapp roller or stiff bush. Actual "tar" or asphault emulsion?

Which ever way, go heavy at all the joints.
