Truly amazing. Regardless of what you think about WalMart you have to respect the amount of growth they have been able to accomplish without getting into financial trouble. Alot of other companies tried, very few have succeeded.

Neat graphic. I like how it's even zoomable, to see the action, for example, in one specific state.
It would be interesting to see similar maps of some of the other larger chains out there, for comparison--both of general box stores like Target, and of other chains like Starbucks, McDonalds, Subway, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, Bank of America, etc...
