anti freeze leak

Hello I started smelling anti freeze after driving my 2001 trac and I am loosing anti freeze and I can see it is leaking at the gasket under the housing where the top rad. hose connects to the engine I would guess the thremostat is in there and I would like to know if there is one or two gaskets to change there and if it is a diffacult job or something that is an easy job and also if anyone knows what to tourqe the bolts at after changing the gasket thanks John

just happened to my 04 the housing was cracked..

same here.........

get bottom and top housing

sensor or sensors mine had one.......some have two..... (i was told old sensor might not seal in new housing)

and hoses while your at it and if money is no issue.

ohh and t-stat if you havent replaced it in a while.
