I want to change the antifreeze the right way. I looked in the projects and didn't see a project on how to do it. I have an 07 V8. Thanks for the help.

I just drain it by pulling off the lower radiator hose, put the hose back on, fill it with water, drive it around the block a few times, repeat until the water runs out clean (about three times). Then fill it with Prestone.

If you know you have hard water or just want to be anal, use distilled water. I do.

Distilled is great in batteries but keep it away from radiators! As a rule, use purified water but not distilled in the cooling system! Distilled will weaken the metal in the radiator over time. As I recall, Distilled water will draw from the radiator tubes through electrolysis to create a balance.
