any interest in STA wheels?

I'm thinking about buying a new set of wheels, but need to know if there would be any interest in my current wheels and tires. Wheels were OEM on '10 STA (44k miles), Hankook tires 7,7,6,6/32nds, with TPMS sensors and balanced. No balance or tracking problems, I just perfer a less shiny wheel. I'd like $1500, and shipping would be negotiable.

I know this should probably be in the S&S section, but I'm not offering them for sale yet, just want to know if the price would be reasonable and if there is a market for them.

Opinions please, you won't hurt my feelilngs!

Unless you need the extra $$$. I would keep them. For the purpose of going back OEM, when you sale or trade someday. You dont get any extra $$$ for custom items.



Thats what I do. I still have my wheels, exhaust, TB, etc.....

I was planning to replace the STA wheels with 20" OEM painted wheels from a late model Exlporer. Like the less shiny finish.

I bet you could find an Explorer owner that would jump at the chance to trade with you. I would check ExplorerForum. Those are very popular and desirable wheels.

Dont know if they can be plasti diped or not but you could give that a try....it's not permanent and if you don't like it, it can peel right off. A buddy of mine did his whole car lime green!! lol I thought it looked pretty good for the day he had it on there....he didn't like it so he peeled it off, no issues.
