I live ~ 1 hour from Kingsport. It's a pretty place. Most areas are very well kept. Beautiful scenery. Summers are typically pretty hot and Winter is mild for the most part.

The Eastman/Kodak plant there stinks up the place, if you are up wind from that it's beautiful. Southeast is always humid in the summer. My wife's extended family lives there, we drove down for a reunion last Labor Day, the first time gas hit $3/gallon right after Katrina(didn't think I'd see that again for some time
