Anyone Near Lake George, Upstate NY?

Going camping in the morning. Headed to our property near Lake George. Anyone near by up for lunch or a meet in Lake Georgr? Going to be there until Sat. afternoon. Will not have computer with us to check the posts after Thursday when we leave around 10 AM. Maybe we'll see you there.

Gary - it has been about ten years since I have been up there. We used to go with some friends of ours via boat and camp on the islands of lake george. Have a great time.

Enjoy it up there ! ! I grew up there, from age.....One till I went into the Army at 17. My family is still in that area. Dad just retired from Lake George Elementary school, after teaching there for more than 23 years. I currently live in Miami and my wife and older daughter have been fighting with me to move there for the past several years, but my blood has gotten thin from living down here in the winters. The heart is definately in Upstate NY. A great place for the ST, mine has made 4 round trips in total to visit the folks. We always like a good road trip, a couple thousand happy miles!! Again, enjoy your time there....

Thanks Scott and Brian. Our property is in Stoney Creek. We have just under 70 acres, lots of woods to run aound. Even though we have the camper, there is no water and no power there. It's just nice to get away.

STanner, what size and weight is your camper? You will be on the other side of the Adirondak State park from us, maybe 80 miles or so, you have a great weekend too.

Gary, see library... It's an '02 Starcraft 27', 4083# MT, It is probably close to the limit full (5300#)... I keep light stuff in it, pack light... I've had it loaded down really good before moving my daughter home from college.... ST had it's work cut out for it... a year ago, we camped in Saratoga for the Travers race... good times...
