I just recieved a 6 disk HU today from a fellow member. It was shipped without the shipping bracket but full of blank disks. The problem is that they will not eject, "CD ERROR". Anything I can do?? I already tried the credit card trick, no luck.

Mine was also shipped w/o the shipping bracket and I ended up having to take it to the dealer and have it replaced with a brand new one. Is your Trac still under warranty? Just put it in your Trac (in place of your current HU) and bring it in. Tell them it isn't ejecting (or whatever it is doing) and they won't know what to do with it because they don't work on anything audio - they send it off. They'll take the headunit, send it to the factory, and get you a new one (unless, I suppose, they can fix it at the factory). But nonetheless, dealers don't do maintenance on audio parts, so they will probably get you a new one.



Just make sure when you bring your Trac in, don't have the OTHER ONE in, haha. Make it look like that is what came in your Trac when you bought it.
