Going to spend a month in Augusta, GA. Never been there before, so I was wondering if anybody has some good info on the place. Places to go? Areas to avoid? General info? Anything would be a great help!
It depends on what you like to do. SF Giants farm team Augusta Greenjackets play regularly. There is a nice riverwalk on the Savannah River that has jazz concerts on Sunday evenings. Lots of recreation baseball and softball going on in Columbia and Richmond Co's. A couple of state parks are close by where camping/fishing RV'ing is possible.
