Automatic Radio Volume

I have an '05 Adrenalin with the 6 CD changer and every time I turn it on the volume drops back to a preset level. Maybe I'm getting old, but that level is way to quiet. I there a way to either disable this feature or change the volume to a more audible level? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Nope.

It is the factory setting, SO you cant leave it blasting and turn on the car and get scared out of your skin ... :lol:

AS Todd said, its is to keep from blowing speakers at startup....

It also kicks the volume down if you listen to the radio wit the key in the accessory posisition.



So you can make it softer, but not louder...

Can you spell "stupid" Well Ford is if it is trying to save the speakers by lowering the volume at start-up. The radio level prior to shut off is the level that the surer was listening to it prior to shut off. If that level didn't damage the speaker then, then it will not do it now at start up. I believe that it a a very poor design.
