Hay, thanks for the help with part numbers and my questions on my transmission oil change. I have more questions though
Before the transmission oil change, I had a noise coming from the transmission after the truck warmed up and I came to a stop. The noise is hard to describe but it sounds kind of like a rotating swishing sound. Now when I put the truck in park it goes away. This happens only after the truck is warmed up and when I come to a stop. Now that the transmissions oil change has been done it is louder. The mechanic that did the change (he pulled the pan and changed the filter) said that everything looked great and there was no metal in the oil.
Is this just a normal sound for a 2003 ST with automatic transmission?
