See what I did there with making the category intake??;) Haha, ok maybe no one will get that but me but anyway. My brother is getting married the 27th of June and I am the BEST MAN. So bachelor party ideas? We had planned to get a bunch of his friends and drive to Nashville but he has his Medical Boards test the 22nd and I have an exam the 23rd. so we have the 23rd 24th and 25th to do something. However, it probably will end up having to be something we can do in Raleigh NC. I am the kind that says you only get married once I have $500 in the bank account lets pool our money go on a wild adventure and not worry if its all gone when we get back. But I have been pressured to keep it simple. So I am open to suggestions from you guys and gals with more experience in this field. BTW He used to own an Explorer Sport so he is kinda in with the ST crowd. He likes mine alteast.

My husband's buddies took him on an all day charter fishing trip. He had a great time with his friends, and did something he loved to do. Everyone was happy (especially me).

Dont know whats in the area, but for mine we just went to the Casino and had dinner and some fun! It wasnt anything spectacular, but fun anyway.

My wife's brother rented a local small golf course for his cousin's bachlor party. Everyone split up into teams. They gave out prizes for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and worst (mine) teams. There was a keg at every hole and you had to drink a cup of beer before you teed off. Plus there was beer in every cart. Made for a fun day and everyone got pretty loaded. There was lots of "intake" of beer. (yes, I got it):D;)

Nudie bar. The strippers will have a special routine for the groom-to-be, usually involving tying him to a chair onstage.

Or so I'm told. ;)

get him drunk enough for him to pass out then die him purple from the belly button to mid upper legs. then at the wedding play the song PURPLE PEOPLE EATER.LOL

my buddy still hates me for that. so does his wife!!!

gotta love ritz dye.

Would love to go to vegas but that can't happen. I actually really like the golf course idea, and thanks for getting it stonemiser.

Good Hangover reference Dan

Nudie bar is not really mine or his style. Doubt we will go the stripper style.

That movie was hilarious! My wife, who usually doesn't care for that style of comedy, was cracking up almost as much as I was. "Hold on, this is my favorite part..."!!!

haha yeah it was pretty good. I am really hoping the father of the bride throws me the keys to his new jaguar coupe and says have a good time tonight.

Clay,

My bro just got married a couple weekends ago, as you know.

For his bachelor party, we went up to my parents cottage (which was happens to be lake-front property ;)) and invented drinking games and played poker smoked cigars (and other stuff) drank our faces off, and had a bonfire on the beach (with a few local chicks) and had a great time with the rest of the groomsmen.

We went to goodwill beforehand and found the most rediculous outfits for him to wear. Like hot pink short-shorts, a mesh tank top, and a had that says "spoiled Princess." We had an aboslute blast all weekend.

One of the best parts was inventing different drinking games that have never been played before and finding out the rules as you go ;)

Our best game involved sitting in beach chairs across from each other and bouncing a tennis ball to try to hit the other guy's beer can, which would be sitting on the arm rest of the chair, with a tennis ball. There were various other rules we created throughout the game that made us have to take a drink. There was a strike zone (strike - he drinks, ball - you drink) and if you try to catch the ball but miss (which becomes quite frequent as the game goes on) it counts as a strike and you have to drink.

complicated I know, but fun as hell

My brother and I are like you - we aren't down with the stripper thing and like to keep things simple/cheap

haha, we have a nice dog drpertz. Two actually. But it sounds like Stonemiser wins this one. Due to the fact that its in the middle of the week and people have to work we are gonna do a golf thing and just take beer in the carts then when thats over depending on what the crowd wants to do we will either hit downtown or go play poker.
