Hey ya'll I'm doing the brakes on my '03 ST 4wd, the top slider on the drivers side caliper is seized up. Can I take the slider out on the rears like the fronts and regrease or do I have to buy new caliper????

:banghead:

Ok, my neighbor/ landlord/ bodyman, mechanic helped me out. He banged on it 'til it came out. So I'm gonna sand it down and grease it back up.

AS long as there is no damage and you can clean it up nice good, slap it back togetehr wit hsome new grease and call it good!

Shouldn't need a new caliper. Pin is stuck in the bracket, correct? I had the same problem up front. Mechanic got it free on one side. I tried the other side and snapped the pin off. Had to buy a new bracket and pin set. :fire:

Yea, my neighbor showed me and got it free. I sanded it back to smooth and greased it up good, did all of the other sliders on the truck as well. Stops better now then it ever has!!!!!:haveabeer::banana:
