Have been away for a couple of weeks. When I left, I was paying $2.99. Just filled up yesterday at $3.09. Heck, I could hire a driver for a week in China, for what it cost me yesterday for one tank of gas. How can they do it? Oh wait. I know. The vehicles are powered by pedal-power. :D

$1.09/L so $4.36 Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

And we (the province of Alberta) has the second largest reserves of oil in the world, second only to Saudi Arabia......

You can lay some of the blame on China's expanding economy. They need more oil and as demand increases so do the prices.

From what I've read, as long as the world uses more oil than can be generated, the price will continue to spiral upward.

The sky is the limit.

Gas prices are going up because those Billion Chinamen you've been hanging out with are starting to get money to buy things that use oil, like cars.
