bad rear diff noise before rebuild

Just found a few vids on my phone. Just to give ya'll an idea of the racket. There was also a few other noises. At 40mph a loud vibrating sound and at 55 a what sounded to me like a random worn bearing sound

Nov 20th. It was 75-80*F all this weekend. Cold front coming tomorrow night. Well at least what folks around here consider a cold front. North Austin, Texas. Maybe down to 32degrees...I was born and raised in Michigan so it is very funny to see folks reactions to the cold here. It snowed for a few hours last year and I was the only one to show up for work. I was so confused as there was just a maybe an inch of snow on the road. lol

It was -27 F here last night, we've had snow since October 4th. No hope of green grass and dry roads until sometime in late April. Must be nice to get all four seasons.

It seems they skip fall here. I haven't seen a leaf change color once since moving here.

...I will try to post an after vid tomorrow night. And my report back after I ask the shop tomorrow about the over-charge for the spider gears, etc..

Sorry. I will try to get the video up tonight. Cell acting up. I went back to the shop and sure enough they charged me for the 28 spline spider gears. They did install the correct 31 spline spiders. I checked the part number on the new part boxes they saved for me. Anyway, the owner will call me in a few days to give me credit. As the 28 spline set is 3x the amount of the 31 spline set. Probably just a typo.? or trying to screw me?. The part numbers are the same on both sets EXCEPT for the letter "A" at the end of the 31 spline set. Also I spoke with the tech. I asked him man to man if he changed the wheel bearings as well. I said I will give him the job if not. He said he def did and not to mention it to the owner as they did not charge me. So that's a plus.

Here it is..really sorry for the shakes and quality. same stretch of road as the first. Had the tailgate down because of a squeak it makes when the cover is off.
