I thought this guy sounded like a scammer. He tried the stuck to the seat thing before. Maybe THIS time was legit. Who knows?

Smells like an "OW! I poured hot coffee in my lap! Give me your money so I don't have to work" type slug to me. Of course, I've been wrong before.

Edit: Just saw the "Dissapointed" thread. Sorry for doubling.

TJR,

How do we know this isn't a ploy from the government, either federal, state, or local, to get camera's into the bathrooms? Maybe Home Depot is doing this to work on that agenda? We really don't know, do we?

We really don't know for sure.

I think anyone guilty of crying wolf at the expense of someone else should be punished like there is not tomorrow.

Wow...I think it is more likely that this guy is a scammer/extortionist than this is a government or corporate sponsored conspiracy. The latter never occurred to me because it seemed too ludicrous. Companies have nothing but bad PR ahead if they were to try (again) to put cameras in bathrooms, but yes, this does grease the skids for such an effort.

I also don't think our govt imploded the WTC towers.

According to a 'source' the guy had said it happened before, but he never filed a suit or made any kind of claim. Also, supposedly the previous time he never got stuck, just sticky. His attorney had a statement about that, but I can't remember what it was.

Until proven otherwise, I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt since it happened on Halloween. Nothing would surprise me on that day.

Why is it the fault of Home Depot. Deep pockets maybe? If a man walks in to Home Depot and shoots a customer, should you sue Home Depot just because it happened within their walls? I'm sorry but we need torte reform in a big way.

In a side note, crazy glue works only when it is wet and only when there is a thin layer. We all know that if we wait too long the parts don't stick and if we put too much on we have to wait a long time.

Having said that, when he supposedly sat down on the glue it must have been wet and therefore recently applied to work at all. First when he sat down he must have felt the glue which at that instance was not dried and therefore not sticking. This is especially true if it were put on a few minutes earlier in a large quantity. Is he accustomed to sitting on a wet seat? I think the whole thing is BS.
