Yes, I’m referring to the black rubber bumpers/feet on the top and bottom of the extension which touch the truck bed depending upon which way the extension is flipped.I have the bed extender in my bed, but am wondering what the 'bumpers' are? Is it, perhaps, something that goes on the extender, and lessens the 'thump' when you swing it up-and-over to the 'extended' position? I'm just baffled what the 'bumpers' are, and am guessing.

It is the rubber pad that keeps the extender bed frame from direct contact with the pickup box floor.
They are grey or black. It is the same part number for Ranger extender bed bumper pad.
I contacted two Ford dealerships attempting to locate the pads. They looked at the national inventory
and were unsuccessful. I tried Google too; it seemed promising but it was not a success.
I would recommend trying a local Ford dealership to find it because with a part that old, they may have it
in stock, but not listed in their inventory released for national viewing.
Last option is get a hex wrench and head to the junkyards and look for Sport Tracs and Rangers that may
