Has anyone tried these brackets? I just saw them on ebay. Not sure if the seller is one of our members. Could be useful if the cargo being loaded under the extender, is not too high.

How does it work? Do they swing out for one side of the extender to rest on?

I might buy a pair. I am a sucker for the "little guy" that comes up with good ideas.

I can't say for sure but it looks like the bed extender pins fits into the bracket and keeps it in place. The pin would have to be involved otherwise the extender would constantly be hitting the bracket.

I just got this response back from the seller. (I also asked him about becoming a member of our site) :)

The brackets are not in the way of any functions. All they do is hold it out of the way when loading and unloading, when your done, you just pull the locking tab out and return the extender to where ever you want it. And no I am not a member, but I'll look in to it, thanks.

If I was using my original extender, I would definately get this.

It's cheaper than the $180 I spent on the folding one.

Maybee, Rich could invite him to be a site sponsor
