Bed Extender

I purchased a used Bed Extender from someone on Craigslist for $50 bucks. I am not sure if i am missing any parts on the bed, but when i go to connect my bed extender, the pins are about 1/2 - 1 inch to short. Is there a connection on the bed wall that allows for the pins or just the holes that are their with the grommets?



Does anyone have a pic?

Try stretching the extender to reach. May have been bent at some point.

IF your truck did not have one, your missing the pins in the bed. They are in the middle.

It does not go to the ones that the tailgate locks on or the cables..



IF you see to open holes in the sides your missing the mounting pins...

They are cheep and available at ford..

I just bought a used extender (Thanks Steve K) and ordered the pivot pins from Rusty at fordpartsfast.com(click specials). Cost $19.20 shipped. simple to install.
