Bed Mat

Just put my new Ford factory rubber bed mat in the ST. It is not mounted in any way, just laying there. Do I need to worry about it coming out at highway speeds? It is very heavy but I don't know what will happen if the wind gets under it. Let me hear from you other rubber bed mat owners.

Nope, your good to go. After a few days of heat and sun it will settle right into place....

There are no indentions but the mat does not interfere at all with either the extender or cover.

If you go through an automatic car wash, just be aware it may fly out of the Trac. I had a rubber mat in my 92' Chevy Sport truck and went through a car wash day. Suddenly there was a loud slap againtst my sliding rear window, and as I looked back the mat was laying in the wash bay... LOL

Tonneau cover keeps it clean and safe.

I have the cage, so it keeps it in place. Even though it just keeps the end of it secure, it's heavy enough that it just sits there. Never had a single problem with mine.
