Bed Payload Capacity

What is the maximum payload capacity of the bed - can I load 500 or 600 lbs in the bed wihtout issue? Might be a dumb question, but I can't find the answer

Easily. Other members will be in shortly to show pictures of the bed filled with gravel/mulch/whatever else.. well above 1000lbs.

My manual stated 1200 lbs.



(Yet the ST is not considered a "half-ton pickup" for whatever reason)

Ok, my maximum load is:

2, 40# bags of dog food

A Christmas tree

4 flats of flowers for the gardens

Tree branches (many)

My friend Allison' bike

Bird seed

2 cases of Mobil1 oil

Man, my truck can take a load!! Handles great, don't even know anything is back there. Bob
