3/4 ton, same capacity as my old ranger, which had the 3/4 ton option. I used to load that ranger up way over the limit, of course it had a lot of aftermarket on it also. My sport track has hauled a ton of stone just fine (2150 pounds close enough) but it was sitting LOW. Not bottomed out, but was very close. personally I was more worried about shortening the life of the springs than I was the truck bed. Of course if the springs go that means you have a reason to replace them, and if the new aftermarket ones come with more lift, like 4-6 inches or so, then they just do, right?
Don't worry about your weight bench, your truck will be fine.
