After this weekend I have a vastly improved and comfortable ride! Take a look!

-Start with Stock wheels and hieght---

[Broken External Image]:

Add a Torsion Twist and Shackles---

[Broken External Image]:

Throw on some Bridge Stone Revos 265/75/16's---

And I am one happy trac'er!

Thats awesome bro! Looks nice! I am still debating on the TT/SL. I have 265's as well and I am happy, but I am getting the itch for more height! -DD ST

Go for it! $50 for shackles off ebay + the alignment was well worth it in my opinion! View is kinda nice up here too... :D

Looking good !!!!

I had mine lowered 2" for over a year. I loved it, but wanted change. Now that I am 2" higher, its nice....but I am itching to go higher but unsure. If I do, I know I will want to get front wheel spacers to make it wider up front and possibly get 1.5" versus the 1.25" spacers I have now for the rear. I don't know. Looks nice though! Yeah, I found those shackles on eBay a while back, but didn't do it. I want to get new shocks first and see how it does. Then I will decide on the TT/SL. I left my aftermarket camber kit in from when I had it lowered just incase I wanted to go higher later after I lifted it back to stock height. Did you screw the Torsion bolts in all the way until they stopped or?? The shackles are a no-brainer. The torsion bolts are what get me. I put mine in til I got exactly 2" back from being lowered. Then I got the alignment. Thanks- DD ST

I cranked mine till they maxed out. Got about 2 inches on both sides but didn't want to keep the nuts that far in. So I loosened them both three full turns. Ended up with just shy of a half inch diffrence in height between the driver and passenger side. Seemed close enough for me and I cant tell other than the meaussuring tape says so. End result- drivers side from the ground to wheel well 35 1/2 inches and just shy of 36 inches on the passenger side. Also when I first meassured before the TT there was the same hieght diffrence when it was stock.

what do you mean alignment and can you really tell the difference in before and after woppy. i am about to do the same thing but i am going to put 275/75/16 on my truck. so just give me some insight on everything and how many wrenchs you would rate it. i have read alot about doing but what do you think. also is this the right ones product war153

Three Wrenches and I am NOT mechanically inclined. I notice that now I climb into my truck as opposed to just sitting down in it(might put the running boards back on bc of this). When I drive I sit higher--- not a incredible height but enough so that I am as tall as full sized trucks & sometimes lil bit higher. And honestly I LOVE how it just looks more aggressive. the TT is a 15minute-20minute breeze. The first shackle was a pain cause I was beening hyper careful. The second one took mqaybe 10 minutes once I figured out the wheres and the hows. ops... Alignment is needed when you are done bc your TT will disrupt it wearing your tires out.

check out that link and let me know if those would be cool. like i said i am putting the bigger tires with spacer if i can find some plus pro comp shocks. this is my tax return fun now.

Yeah I believe the WAR153 are the ones I researched earlier and would work on a sport trac.

I used this guy from ebay. - link below. BUT he has raised his asking price now and you wouldn't be saving all that much $10 i think.

Looks nice man! Thats about how mine looks too, only complaint I have is that the ride is a little bouncy but Im still running stock shocks at 70,000 mi so I'm sure thats partly to blame.

Ian I am at 60,000miles and changed my shocks out 2,000 ago.... even with the larger tires and tt/shackles it rides better than stock!
