Ok I've got a 2,600 mile roadtrip up the coast of CA, OR and WA that I'm doing in June and I've got a big decision:

Do I buy a new frame....

[Broken External Image]:

Or get the ST hooked up with a better sound system with satellite radio????

My budget will allow me only one, so I need help deciding. We're going to be doing a lot of riding along the way on this trip, and my current mtb is okay, but I'm lusting after the Santa Cruz. I'm stuck...

Okay maybe I can compromise and try to do both. The more I think about it the more I'm unsure about the satellite thing. I have a huge music collection and most of it's on my iPod so I'm thinking about getting a head unit that I can just plug my iPod into. Would the new HU work with my factory speakers until I upgrade everything else?? The link goes to the one I'm looking at...

You can buy a Delphi Roady 2 XM reciever for $50.00 or so at Circut City. It is a kit with every thing you need to get you going. Why not do both?:)

You can buy a Roady 2 for 12 bucks on ebay. I bought 2 of them. Now I have 3 sat radios in my driveway. Gotta love XM:rolleyes:

I'd say go with the frame.

I was considering getting a Blur LT myself, but settled on a Giant Trance that I had taken on a couple of demo rides (and saved a bit of $$).
