Bill of sale?

A friend of mine is selling his 5000 mile Viper and was trying to find a good FREE Bill of Sale to use for the sale. Anyone have a good text file, site or any advice. He just wants to cover himself.

depends on the state. some do not require a bill of sale just authorized state form stating the sale price and a signature from the buyer & seller. some states require that info on the title as well.

I keep a copy of the bill of sale form and the form showing I sold it. It was free from Texas DOT web site.

When I need one I just print it out.
